Google Moon

"In honor of the first manned Moon landing, which took place on July 20, 1969, we’ve added some NASA imagery to the Google Maps interface to help you pay your own visit to our celestial neighbor. Happy lunar surfing."

Do try to zoom in all the way, there's a little surprise :-)

Guess who's getting bored at work...

tube map

Shock horror! The tubes don't run in straight lines!!! :-O

Was randomly helping Helen with route finding earlier when I came across this tube map, with the lines drawn over a satellite map of London. (Size Warning: 1MB)

too lazy to blog properly...

  1. I have graduated (30th June), BA Hons. (Cantab) can now go after my name, I think... :)
  2. Bloggers BBQ was great fun, I think I should be a teenager forever! Somehow I managed to take 98 photos... but due to the slowness of my internet connection no one will see anything for another 10 days or so (see next point).
  3. I'm going to have 2Mbps broadband soon!!! Have signed up yesterday, so everything should be activated in just over one week :-D
  4. Have started working at EGS again, just for the summer at the moment, quite fun to be back 18 months since the last time. Mainly trying to sort out their messy Access database this time, hmm, headache... :-s
  5. Helen is in Germany :'(
  6. I was on the tube when explosions took place this morning, but luckily nothing happened to me, apart from getting evacuated at Baker Street station and being very confused for half an hour. I don't like terrorists...
  7. Wireless networks are fun :-)
  8. I can only think of 6 things to say...
  9. I can't count...
