An adventure of 18 days
It's shocking, I've not blogged for 18 days! And very busy 18 days too! It all started on Friday the 11th, when I went into work (!!!) for the office move, which was most tiring but still fun, and free lunch can never be a bad thing :) The new office looked something like this after the first day of move:

I even have my own desk and a new computer! They are all on the floor above though, with this view from my desk:

Anyway, apparently more moving/unpacking took place over the weekend, but I was not there to help. Instead, I found myself magically (well, I fell asleep on the coach...) appearing in Cambridge for the medieval Bloggers Banquet, hosted by Toby and Hane. In case you've forgotten what they look like again, here's another reminder :)

Notice how much they had changed after the banquet, how strange...

Medieval princesses at the banquet:

Of course, I was not present for the evening of the banquet. Instead I discovered a time machine in toby's desk drawer and travelled to the present day to attend the 10th anniversary UCPO reunion dinner, held in Selwyn College:

After a wonderful dinner we moved on to the party room in Trinity Burrell's Field, where more alcohol and food were consumed. It was also here I left the evidence of my time travel, by posing in a photo with Stozz:

The party looked as if it would have kept going all night, but the time machine was to return by midnight so I was forced to make a hasty escape, getting into the strange black device just in time to be taken back to medieval time, only to find the medieval princesses transformed!

Ah well, maybe it wasn't medieval after all...
Not much had happened for more than a week after that exciting weekend, apart from BT finally restoring our internet connection at work (yup, someone forgot to tell BT that our broadband serviced needed transferring...); me finally receiving Hannah's Yes Minister DVD, sent to the wrong post code in the first place...; and my first all nighter in over half a year.
On Thursday Helen turned 18, it was so exciting that I bounced all the way from Bellingham to Tulse Hill, to deliver my presents:

I even wrapped everything myself, isn't that exciting? :-D
The very same evening was the birthday dinner with Helen's family and friends, at Tamnag Thai in Crystal Palace. Lots of old (well compared to me anyway) people who I didn't know, which was scary, but they were most certainly not scary people, and I can still remember everyone's name! Mmmmm the cake was so nice:

Birthday celebration continues the next day, with a romantic dinner at Maggiore's in Covent Garden!

Everything about the place was perfect, food was simply out of this world, and the 79 page wine list was rather impressive indeed... Expect more details on Helen's blog sometime soon :)
Day three, party at Helen's house! Involving pile-ons:

a Shakespeare related play:

and dead bodies in the garden, except one of them was looking just a bit too cheerful for a dead person... (Emmie, you don't happen to know who she is do you?)

Phew, finally caught up. Must blog more often in the future... Argh it's 3am...! *kicks self* *misses* *kicks air instead* *gets tired* *falls asleep*
